All schools, colleges, universities and their respective societies

We can provide African drumming workshops and Caribbean Steel band , with authentic teachers and dancers including Limbo dancing as needed. We also can do demonstrations and teach rhythms using the basics principles and formulae to suit all  including young children as well as experts.

Have a look at our gallery to see a cross section of some of our  events. Our workshop is full of fun and can be highly inspirational as well as educative.

From one City council to the next in the UK, we have attracted respect, praises in our work of transferring learning methods of multicultural cohesion and togetherness alongside advancing the need of embracing tolerance, complementation, history and diversity. Children often learn from their environment and positive learning coupled with musical enhancement can be a useful tool in making children and adults fully fledged.

The African Drumming workshops which we have done  in Schools, Colleges and communities through out United kingdom have yielded positive results. General observations are:

1) The workshop stimulates learning concentration in children including those with special needs;

2) It aids pupils to develop their inner creative skills and to perform well in both musical and non-musical subjects;

3) It can block or inhibit the degree of shyness and hence instil self-confidence in children and adults;

4) Drumming activity is potent and it is capable of easing  the daily stress
of life in both children and adults:

5)  Drumming activity can instil good behaviour in children especially.
6) African drumming workshop activity is interactive, bonding, fun and creates an atmosphere of love and team work or team building;
7) It can also transport one to a higher declivity discovering ones talent or artistic creativity;

8) African Drumming can help people get interested in trying other musical instruments as a blend can lead to a powerful musical rendition;
9) The drumming activity aids thought processes of medulla oblongata  and as well as the drums themselves obey the three laws of motion.

We can come to our school,  college or university and teach as well as choreograph rhythms  through group workshops.

We can provide African drums and drumming instruments in such a way that up to  250 people can play all at once. Size will not be a problem if you have the space and a modest budget as we are reasonable in all our dealings.

We use the following in our workshops: Djembe drums, Doun doun, Kpanlogo, xylophone, balophone, African cow bells, Ekwe ( wooden log drums), osha ( ankle and waist shakers), ordinary shakers, Opi ( wooden flute or whistle), talking drums ( Hausa style), udu ( Igbo clay drum), various costumes including chieftaincy and native land (traditional male and female), hats with feathers, carvings to mention but a few. Our tradition and style encompasses all African tribes including, Igbo, Hausa, Efik, kalabari, Benin, Ashanti, Zulu, Afrikaans, Arowaks, Shona, Ndebele, etc.

You may choose a style, tribe or theme and we will effect and perform to suit.
